Kristy & Jarrod...

A beautifully intimate wedding, filled to the brim with love, joy and laughter. And a few tears. It was an emotionally charged day, and it was so hard to remember to work and not sit and laugh/cry along with everyone else.

I send a huge and special thank you to Janet from Hyggelig and Storytellers Photography who shot with me and was such an amazing support for me on the day, after what had been an extremely hard personal week. Thank you Janet, with all sincerity and grace.

Joelle & Stuart...

Ahhh. Love it when two people so obviously adore each other. The cheeky grins, the happy tears, the tender touches they give each other.

Joelle and Stuart were married last weekend down in Torquay after a short, but sweet, engagement. They've known each other a while, and you know how it is when two people are so perfect for each other even their friends can't remember a time when they were apart. Well, this is them.

Two gorgeous people, inside and out. I feel so very lucky to have been a part of their day.

Steve and Leesh (and Kirra) got married

And it was perfect. So sweet, so simple, so poignant.

Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in the hoopla of a wedding, and forget what it's all about. Which is getting married, and celebrating with the people you love. When Steve and Leesh got married last year, they had planned a beautiful outdoor ceremony by a stunning river near Mt Buller, with an outdoor party to last all night. They had candles in the trees, wildflowers in vases, a dancefloor in the middle of an oval and accommodation on site, so guests could party the night away and crash and burn when they were ready.

But with 5 mins to go before the ceremony started, the skies opened and it bucketed down and it did.not.stop for the rest of the night. Not for even a few minutes. It poured all night long. So the outdoor ceremony didn't go ahead, the outdoor all night dance party didn't eventuate, but you know what... it so didn't matter.

I feel so lucky to share these with you. Two beautiful people who I love so very dearly and are very very special to me. Well 3 people really, now they have added gorgeous Kirra to their twosome.

Steve and Leesh, big love to you guys always. You mean more to me than you'll probably ever know xxx
