Weddings with Relic Imagery, part two

Next up in my weddings series is Kellie and Dave's wedding from down in Mornington. We had lots of perfect sunshine at a private winery, so simple yet so picturesque. It was a very emotional day, Dave's delight and joy and seeing his beautiful bride for the first time was really so touching.

Last year I was doing some second shooting at weddings for Jessie at j [studios], but I never got around to posting the images for 3 of the weddings! I don't know why, I guess I was super busy at the time. But now that I have 5 mins to breathe during the quiet-ish winter months, I thought it might be time to drag some out of the archives and showcase some of my wedding work.

This here is the wedding of Sarah and Dan. It was a gorgeous wedding, lots of lovely details, and a lolly table to boot! To say I was in sweet-tooth heaven would be a small understatement ;-) But not only was the wedding itself delightful,  but Sarah and Dan were two of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. I had an awesome day!

Photo Business Bootcamp

This past week I had the amazing opportunity to co-host Liana Hall's Photo Business Bootcamp here in Melbourne. Three days of soul-searching, business planning, number crunching, photographing, laughter and tears. I had an amazing time and feel so very privileged to have been a part of it and to have the opportunity to meet Liana, who is not only a fabulous photographer and awesome business woman, but also a truly lovely person.

A massive thanks and shoutout to my fellow biz bootcamp survivors: Jessie - co-host and amazing friend, Hannah, Hayley and Rita for sharing your stories and allowing me to get to know you. I had a great time with you all.

On the last day we went into the city to shoot a high fashion bridal session with the beautiful Sarah, and also Jessie's daughter Chelsea. An awesome way to finish an inspiring and eye-opening 3 days.

Spring weddings...

... can be so unpredictable! Especially with Melbourne's weather... Don't get me wrong, I love our fair city, and wouldn't live anywhere else, but yes, our weather is very temperamental.

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of second shooting for Jessie at j [studios] and her new assistant Bree, and can I just say - I had a BALL! There was a lot of driving on the agenda, which would have been fine if we didn't get out to the beach for our shoot only to have to turn around and come back again because the heavens opened and we got absolutely drenched.

But nevertheless we got some awesome shots, had a ton of fun, and went home completely exhausted after a long day.
