This little chicken was a dream to photograph. So happy and content. Totally chilled. I just wanted to squish those gorgeous cheeks!!
Daddy had painted Lucy a mural in the backyard on the side of the house, and it was so darn cute. Not only that but she had the cutest little quilts, handmade and retro style toys and little adornments in her bedroom, I wanted to stay and photograph her all day long!
I had trouble just choosing a few for the preview today, so I hope you enjoy these Alissa and John! Talk soon xox

So I'm shooting Amy and Brendan's wedding next month, and I'm sooooo excited!!! These two are just so cute, I just wanted to bundle them up into my camera bag and take them home with me!! We had their engagement shoot this afternoon, in the beautiful Melbourne evening sun. With their beautiful pooch, Henry, of course. He was awesome... Posing for me and being a bit too sweet.
Enjoy these Amy and Brendan.... I had so much fun with you guys (I was late getting home, hahaha!) and I simply can.not.wait for your wedding next month. Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!

Anne and Hugh. Two gorgeous people, both inside and out. I photographed them and their equally gorgeous daughter Miah, last year. Plus a whole bunch of their family. Plus their new niece!! I feel like we're old chums, and I love that! That's exactly the sort of relationships I love to have with my clients... To be welcomed into their lives, and see their families grow and change, is a real blessing.
Well since the last time I saw these 2 crazy kids, they have another beautiful daughter on the way and went and got themselves married!! Yes I cried. Yes I do that a lot at weddings :-) I was so moved with how both their children were included in the ceremony, Hugh's tender touch on Anne's tummy, the way they adore each other.
*sigh*
Anyway, on with the pics!!!!
I hope you enjoy your preview Anne and Hugh. I had such a lovely afternoon with you all. We'll talk soon xox
Starting with the B+G. Aww...

This is actually 2 families, about to become 1, with Bob and Sandra getting married in October. Look how cute they are together, nawwwwwww!!!
It can be quite difficult having a family photo session with just adults. More often than not they feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. I say patooey to that! Be yourselves, ham it up, give mum the bunny ears! I don't mind. And even though you'll feel a bit goofy at the time, trust me you won't regret it when you see your photos.
Enjoy xox

Photo Business Bootcamp

This past week I had the amazing opportunity to co-host Liana Hall's Photo Business Bootcamp here in Melbourne. Three days of soul-searching, business planning, number crunching, photographing, laughter and tears. I had an amazing time and feel so very privileged to have been a part of it and to have the opportunity to meet Liana, who is not only a fabulous photographer and awesome business woman, but also a truly lovely person.
A massive thanks and shoutout to my fellow biz bootcamp survivors: Jessie - co-host and amazing friend, Hannah, Hayley and Rita for sharing your stories and allowing me to get to know you. I had a great time with you all.
On the last day we went into the city to shoot a high fashion bridal session with the beautiful Sarah, and also Jessie's daughter Chelsea. An awesome way to finish an inspiring and eye-opening 3 days.

Yes, I am a slacker. Yes, I know this. But I'm also very determined... When I set my mind to something, I usually see it through. Unless it's terribly boring. Or I can't be bothered...
So, without further ado, my last outstanding pics for my photo a day challenge. For those keeping up, this year was Just My Kids, and whilst I'm glad that was my theme, I was glad to see Feb 1st, as I'm sure my kids were.
Day 25 - Elliot wasn't home, so Ivy jumped on his bed and played with his toys:

Day 26 - I went to the Big Day Out, so only saw Ivy for an hour or so in the morning. When I left she was snuggled up on her little couch watching cartoons. Bless.

Day 27 - I forgot to take photos. So another one of them sleeping during the night. So lame, but at least I did it. Actually, this is a bit of a poignant photo of Ivy as it was one of the last times she slept in her cot :-( She's now in a big bed and my bebe is all growed up.

Day 28 - Playing at the park with our friends. Elliot was being very elusive (as usual) so had to sneak this one of him:

Day 29 - I've been reading Elliot "George's Marvellous Medicine" one chapter at a time. He loves it:

Day 30 - Birthday parties for friends. I guess someone was tired?

Day 31 - The End. Elliot showing me his "friend" named Frank. I call him Stinky Frank because he's a Collingwood bear. Ivy dancing and performing as usual. Wearing her hat and sucking her dummy. As usual.

A huge thanks and hugs to all my friends who have been encouraging me on this challenge and keeping up with my pics. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have <3
