Everybody needs good neighbours...

These 2 total spunks are neighbours and I spent a lovely afternoon with them and their mums; playing, gasbagging, drinking tea... oh and taking photos.

8 month old Eden is WALKING (yes - you read right!) so his shoot turned out to be a bit more difficult than I would normally expect for an 8 month old, but I managed to get some really lovely shots of him playing and toddling around.

5.5 month old Julia happily layed about for me and posed without running away. She has the biggest eyes ever - and so sparkly.

How beautiful are they?! I imagine they'll get into quite a bit of mischief together as they get older! :-)

Thanks so much Jade and Erica for yesterday. You guys are a hoot and I had so much fun. I hope you enjoy your preview.

So shiney and new...

Sweet baby Noah isn't even due yet, he surprised his Mum and Dad by entering the world three and a half weeks early! When I first arrived I was awestruck at how teeny tiny he was, I thought there was no way I could handle him because he was so fragile and little.

But he was really a lovely weight for a newborn, I'd just forgotten how little they are. And my youngest is only 15 months old - they grow so fast.

Michelle and Baz, thankyou so much for allowing me into your lives to capture this special time. I feel so very lucky. Enjoy your preview and your gallery will be ready soon.

Beginning...

Beautiful Rachelle is due with baby #3 in about 8 weeks (hopefully less). Her two older boys are just gorgeous, so I have no doubt at all that the newest addition will be just as lovely.

Stay tuned for our newborn session in a few weeks. In the meantime, Rachelle here is your sneak peek. Stay well, rest up and I can't wait to hear from you again soon!

Sunshiney day...

I went to a "duck park" on lovely sunny Friday to hang out with these two little munchkins. 5-year-old Lleyton was very reluctant to even come near me at first, but after a little coaxing and lots of discussions about dinosaurs, X-men and Batman I was allowed into the circle of trust, heh heh.

18-month-old Darcy was way too busy to sit still for some photos, but that's ok, I chased him around and we looked at birds, played ball etc. It's so lovely being able to play with kids and see them start to engage with you and have a lot of fun on the shoot.

So for Mum and Nanny who are wanting some photos to send to relos overseas, here is your preview. I hope you enjoy them and I'll be in touch soon when your gallery is ready.

The Firecracker and the Chubby Bubby...

On Monday I headed out to see a family for a session with their 6 month old chubby bubby, B, and their other son, 2 year old D.

Wowee, D was such a firecracker!!! He just did not stop going the whole time I was there. It was hard to pin him down, but I got a few good shots of him exactly as he is and I had an absolute blast with him. It was so nice to gain his trust and we played lots of fun games (especially grass hats - I was still pulling the grass out of my hair the next day, lol).

Baby B was a gorgeous little boy, so happy to be placed and moved. And a great age too, because he couldn't escape, haha.

Alison and Dave, enjoy your preview. Thanks so much for inviting me into your lives, and I'll be in touch very soon when your gallery is ready.

Lil sis, Wolfie and the belly...

My little sister is pregnant with her second baby, affectionately named Wolfie. I've been DYING to get photos of her glorious pregnant belly. She wanted to wait until she was a bit bigger, and generally I would say around 32-36 weeks would give the best photographic results, but Wolfie is a bit on the large side (poor sis, I hope he has a small head!) so we went ahead anyway.

So here she is. My lil sis, my lil nephew and one gorgeous tum. Thanks babe. Love ya xox

Beautiful family...

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to photograph this beautiful family. Mum felt a bit shy about having her photo taken, but was such a trooper and OMG so photogenic! I loved hanging out with you all, and your little boys are such gorgeous kids.

Thanks for inviting me into your lives, and I hope you had as much fun as I did :-)
